This is an all levels Ashtanga Mysore Yoga program where everyone is welcome. Unlike the reputation of Ashtanga, this is very beginner friendly! All bodies, ability, ages, sizes, genders are welcome. Teaching is 1:1 in a group, 6 mornings a week

Hi, I'm Maxi

I believe the body holds a quiet, intelligent wisdom - one that often gets overshadowed by the analytical mind. When we come back into relationship with the body’s sensations, something shifts. We begin to listen differently. We gain access to guidance that supports healing, clarity, and a deeper sense of agency.

As we reconnect with the body in this way, we also reconnect with ourselves - our inner capacity, discernment, and self-knowledge. From this place, we’re able to respond rather than react, make choices that feel aligned, and cultivate a more harmonious inner and outer life.

For over 20 years, I’ve immersed myself in Ashtanga and Restorative Yoga, pranayama, yoga therapy, trauma-informed coaching, Ayurveda, mindfulness, and meditation - learning from some of the greatest living teachers. My work integrates this depth of practice with my deep background in physiology, psychology, and somatic psychology, offering a grounded, body-led approach that meets you where you are.

My own path into embodied living emerged after years as a world-class athlete and academic perfectionist - driven by willpower, achievement, and pushing through, while feeling increasingly disconnected and depleted. Learning to listen to my body changed everything. It offered a steadier, more sustainable and compassionate way of being.

Now, I guide others to come back into relationship with themselves - cultivating presence, resilience, and balance from the inside out.
